Today the the 9th of September. The 50th anniversary of death the the comrade Mao Zedong. I went to the Mausoleum on the Tiannamen Square with the intention to pay tribute to the Chairman. The guard has complimented my Mao bag but sorry, the admissions require online reservations. I should have known.

The current day was fully booked. I made one for after tomorrow.

From Tiannamen Square I took subway to the South Railway Station. To have a taxi ride. Not any taxi. Autonomous, driverless taxis is what I wanted. They were operating from there. The pickup sign is still there. But no cars.
