Just around the corner from my hotel in Fengtai District, 100141 Beijing, there is a mahjong table dealership. I dropped in. Made the initial business contact with the manager.

Where I play in Germany the tiles are distributed among players on the table the same way as they were in China 1000 years ago.

But times have changed. China keeps pace with the change and Germany does not.
