Huge aircraft exhibition.

Military aviation fans will have their day there. 1950s, 60s, 70s models all standing or hanging in one huge hall. Even a strategic bomber fits neatly between first Soviet jet fighters and the first Chinese ballistic rocket "Eastern Wind 1".

Korea war remembered

A separate section is dedicated to the Chinese participation in the Korean war in 15950s. In the West few people know that the son of Mao Zedong gave his life there fighting against the American agression.

The first shot of the Chinese Revolution

A very special exhibit comes from Germany. It is a 7.63mm Mauser pistol used by Zhu De, a communist military commander. After the final split with Kuo Min Tang the uprising started in Nanchang on August 1 and Zhu De was leading the troops with this pistol in hand. "First shot" has of course only a symbolic meaning but Nanchang Uprising was a real start of the Revolution.
